HISTORY
C.Y.O. Seeds have been in existence since 1976. Nick Downey was a founder member of C.Y.O. and set up C.Y.O. (Midlands) in 1978.
Since 1978, the firm has grown steadily, developing new systems and machinery to cater for the needs of farm processed seed.
DEVELOPMENT
Our machines now process more than 19,000 tonnes of seed annually. Each year we build new equipment, always aware, that a successful contractor must offer his customer continuous development.
STAFF
Continuity and training of staff we hold to be most important. Seven permanent staff build, maintain and run the machines (we build for other contractors here and abroad).
During the busy autumn season, we also employ sub-contract operators, most of which have been with us for the season for many years and because of this we do not use any foreign labour.
We take great care in choosing our staff and sub-contractors; we train and re-train them; with your help, we monitor their work and encourage them to return annually. All hold PA 11 BASIS seed treatment certificates.
